At The Language Machine we have nearly twenty years of experience teaching students a variety of languages from Arabic to Spanish.
We specialise in private language tuition which is the fastest and most effective way to learn a new language. Private tuition means that the classes can be tailored to your exact needs whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced speaker.
Compared with a typical group class which will have upwards of 10 students and cost up to £25 per lesson, we believe that private tuition offers a cost effective way of learning a language given the intensity of tuition — you’ll learn a lot faster whether you’re learning for travel, business or academic reasons.
Private tuition also has the advantage that you can have lessons at the days and times that suit you to fit in with your schedule. If you are not able to make a lesson one week then no problem, simply reschedule with your tutor for another day, or leave it a week until your next session.
Moreover your tutor can teach you in the comfort of your own home, office or other suitable location such as a local coffee shop or library.

Free introductory lesson
We offer all students a free 20 minute introductory lesson/assessment with their tutor. This online meeting is an opportunity to get to know your tutor before you start and for them to gauge your level and find out about your learning motivation.
