Spanish Classes For Children

We are starting Spanish classes for children on June 5 in Greenwich. The courses are aimed at 4 to 7 year olds and give them a fun introduction to the Spanish language and culture.

Spaces are limited to 12 in each class and we expect them to be snapped up quickly so don't delay in booking.

Your Spanish Teacher... Your tutor is a native speaker from Spain who is fully qualified and has lots of experience teaching children. She's also CRB checked.

Experience: The Language Machine has more than a decade of experience teaching Spanish and other languages. We're dedicated to providing high quality language tuition and have taught thousands of satisfied students.

Materials: Mums and dads enjoy learning the words and songs leant in class as much as their children! So, we've developed materials which mean parents can practise with their children outside of the classes.

We provide handouts to accompany each lesson, vocabulary sheets and a handy pronunciation guide.

You'll also receive an email each week with information about exactly what was covered in the lesson that week and hints and tips on practising at home.

Inspired Learning Through Play And Interaction

Naturally
We only make the most out of what nature gives children to help them learn in a natural and fluid way.

Young children have an incredible ability to absorb and retain what looks like amazing amounts of new information. Parents often wonder how their kids can remember events that took a place long time ago or words that were only mentioned once in a conversation.

Play and fun within a structured framework
By providing them with a stimulating and fun environment and a well thought out and structured programme, children acquire a new language the same way they learnt their mother tongue: through play and fun in a relaxed, happy atmosphere.
Listening and speaking
The early stages of second language learning, like with their first language, comes from listening and speaking, so special emphasis will be placed on encouraging listening and conversation. In the classroom there will be many opportunities to interact with a native speaker and ensure they obtain the correct pronunciation of different sounds, ensuring a good base for the future progression in Spanish.
For all
All styles of learning are catered for, making the learning experience enriching and enjoyable for everyone.
Music and Rhymes
A typical lesson will include action songs and rhymes to encourage physical response. The tutor will be using puppets, flash cards, arts and crafts and other objects to add an element of surprise. Revision and consolidation is key to remembering new vocabulary, so the tutor will make sure that every week children go over what was previously learnt.
